Selecting Vehicle Options

To enter a vehicle’s options, select the Vehicle tab> Options tab. Two sections are displayed in this screen:

• Select Options
• Currently Selected Options

The Select Options section, on the left, contains a list of option groups, such as Power, Radio, or Transmission. When you highlight something from the Select Options section, the program lists all related options on the right side pane in the section. You can select the individual options from here.

In the Select Options section, standard options are marked Standard. The program automatically selects them. You can de-select standard options, but the Standard mark will remain.

You can also select from Smart Options, such as Search/Seek, which will fill in the related options (in this case, AM, FM and Stereo.) Some mutually exclusive options may not be selected at the same time (such as 5-Speed and 6-Speed.)

If you change the Selected Vehicle after you’ve begun choosing options, a set of new standard options will appear, but any Manual Options you have chosen will remain. Use the Reset Options tab on the toolbar to remove any manual selections.

To select vehicle options

1. Open or create a workfile.
2. Select the Vehicle tab, and then select the Options tab.
3. Select an option category from the Select Options section to display the options included in that category. They will display in the Currently Selected Options section.
4. You may also select any other options listed in this view.
5. Select Save or Save and Close.
